Giving and Humanitarian Aid

Aviation plays a major role in humanitarian aid, world wide.  There are endless ways to participate and countless organizations making a real impact.  Here are just a few:

JAARS – Bible Translation and Worldwide Delivery:

The JAARS Vision:

Our vision is that people’s lives and communities are transformed as they experience God’s Word in their own language.

The JAARS Mission:

Our mission is to make Bible translation and language development possible, especially in the most remote and difficult places on earth. We do that by enabling locally appropriate and sustainable solutions in transportation, technology, media, and training.

MAC – Mission Air Care:

Without MAC 5 Young Men Wouldn’t Have Been Saved

Your friendship and help over the years has been a real blessing. Without MAC (Mission Air Care) five young men wouldn’t have been saved. These young men are still active in our ministry and helped all week with VBS.

Without MAC we wouldn’t have made it to my mother-in-law’s bedside and funeral, because a volcano had grounded the airlines. At a moments notice, you dropped everything and made it possible for my wife to see her mother alive one last time. She was also present to see her pass on into eternity. Gayle will be forever grateful. There are countless campers and young people who will be eternally indebted to your faithfulness and dedication. I know Gayle and I, would never be able to go out on furlough if we had to pay the thousands of dollars in commercial plane fares to fly people in and out of Selawik to take care of the ministry while we are gone.”

—Missionary/Pastor Warren Compton

A Note from Earl, for your Gift of Generosity:

Thank you!  You are thoughtful and generous for thinking of others.

Our sending agency has a site for donations, but you have to list the person or entity you wish the gift to go to.  It will come to us though, minus any cc fees.  The site is:

The donor should simply list myself (Earl Malpass) or our ministry (Mission Air Care) when prompted.

Thanks again!

Mission Aviation Fellowship:

MAF operates a fleet of 46 light aircraft from 17 bases in eight countries in Africa, Asia, Eurasia, and Latin America. Our pilots save valuable travel time and cover seemingly impossible distances in minutes or hours compared to days by foot, road, or river. Each year, we fly over two million nautical miles to speed the work of some 600 Christian and humanitarian organizations. MAF flights support indigenous churches and local evangelists, create access to medical care, provide disaster relief, and make community development projects possible … in some of the most remote places on earth.

Mission Aviation Fellowship Canada:

Whether it’s transporting relief supplies to a refugee camp, or flying doctors to a remote village, MAF’s “Wings of Love” bring more than just tools and supplies to a hurting world – we bring the Gospel of God’s love in a tangible way.

Sign up for “Flying for Life” magazine, MAF Canada’s own quarterly publication.

If giving is a part of who you are, please feel free to connect with any of these organizations that you feel is making a positive impact.  We thank you for joining us in each cause for rescue, reclamation, preservation, protection of people, communities, cultures and traditions.
